太阳能产品材料生产商公Ferro司周二表示正在扩大其在亚洲市场，包括中国苏州增加工厂，以及在中国台湾省台北市新建工厂。
Ferro称，在苏州加盖厂房是为了满足中国太阳能电池制造商日益增长的需求。台湾的新工厂将主要生产太阳能电池印刷和发射设备。预计台湾工厂将在今年年底前完成。
Ferro还表示，公司已经获得了在新加坡开设太阳能电池材料研发实验室所需土地。
Industrial materials maker Ferro Corp. said on Tuesday that it is expanding in Asia, including adding on to a plant in Suzhou, China, and building a new one in Taipei, Taiwan.
It said the expansion in Suzhou is to meet increasing demand from solar cell manufacturers in China.
The new facility in Taiwan will have solar cell printing and firing equipment, and is expected to be finished by the end of the year.
Ferro also said it has gotten space in Singapore to open a research and development facility with a solar materials laboratory.
