该太阳能发电系统是在2009年9月ProLogis Renewable Energy和 ProLogis European Properties（PEPR）宣布的联合开发协议的一部分。
由Recurrent Energy出资建设，位于巴塞罗那和马德里佩普PEPR八大配送中心的4.8兆瓦太阳能发电系统，将由该公司拥有及经营。
Recurrent Energy于2009年7月得到该并网系统的开发权，通过设置上网电价，把电力输送到当地使用。

Recurrent Energy announces operation of rooftop solar power systems in Spain
Recurrent Energy, a power producer and a developer of solar power projects, has announced the commercial operation of 4.8MW of rooftop solar power systems in Spain.
The solar power systems are part of a co-development arrangement announced in September 2009 with ProLogis Renewable Energy and ProLogis European Properties (PEPR).
Recurrent Energy financed, owns and operates the 4.8MW of solar power systems, which are located on eight of PEPR's distribution centers in Barcelona and Madrid.
The systems are grid-connected, feeding all power generated back into the local utility through a feed-in tariff, which was awarded to Recurrent Energy in July 2009.
