美国当地时间7月26日，内华达太阳能公司已经获得了一个1.3MW的太阳能光伏项目合同，为内华达里诺市进行太阳能项目建设。项目包括1MW的固定倾斜，地面安装项目（代替原来水电站的项目），还有295KW的屋顶安装，地面安装在里诺的五个其他地区。
该太阳能项目不会额外动用里诺市资金。筹款是由NV 能源，联邦税收为太阳能电池矩阵提供的。估计这些太阳能安装矩阵将会未来的20年节约2500万美元，并且在设计，材料加工，施工方面会创造出60多个就业岗位。
今年10月份，其中将会有一个施工项目将会开始建设。
Nevada Solar Works LLC, a partnership between Q&D Construction, CleanPath Renewables and Alternative Energy Solutions, has won a contract to build 1.3 MW of solar photovoltaic projects for the City of Reno. The projects include a 1 MW fixed-tilt, ground-mount system at the Reno-Stead Water Treatment Plant and 295 kW of fixed-tilt, rooftop and ground-mount installations at five other locations throughout the city.
The projects are being built at no additional cost to the City of Reno. Funding is being provided by a combination of rebates from NV Energy, federal tax incentives and payments for the energy produced by the array. It is estimated that these arrays will save the city $2.5 million over the next 20 years, while generating more than 60 jobs in design, engineering, materials fabrication and construction, CleanPath Renewables says.
Construction on the first of the seven projects is scheduled to begin this October.
