Eaton Corp. said Tuesday it will design and install the largest solar cell system in New Mexico for the state's Department of Veterans Affairs health care system.
Eaton said it received a $20 million contract to install a 3.2 megawatt solar cell system in Albuquerque. It said the photovoltaic cell system will reduce the amount of electricity the department gets from the local utility grid.
In afternoon trading, Eaton stock skidded $2.96, or 4.3 percent, to $66.27 as the broader markets dropped sharply.
