The doors to the Intersolar Europe tradeshow in Munich opened at 9am this morning. With over 1,800 exhibitors in 12 halls, the exhibition once again beats the record set the previous year. According to the organizers of the event, there has been a 33% increase in exhibitor numbers and 29% growth in the total exhibition area compared to 2009.
More than 60,000 international visitors are expected to travel to the New Munich Trade Fair Center, with an increased number of UK visitors attending because of the recent announcement of the UK feed-in tariff and the 'Doing Solar Business in the UK' conference held yesterday. A peripheral program and the Intersolar Europe Conference are also running in parallel to Intersolar Europe at the International Congress Center ICM of the Munich Trade Fair Center.
