Spire Corp. has introduced the SPI-Line 20 MW (per year) PV module assembly line. According to the company, the new line provides new entrants into the PV market a greater than 30% reduction in normalized capital expenditure, expanding customers' capability and cost reduction per watt of module production.
The line incorporates Spire's SPI-Assembler 7000, SPI-Sun Simulator 4600SLP, the SPI-Laminator 1837, other essential manufacturing and testing equipment, and Spire's process technology and support services.
